Xue Lin Edifice
This is an architectural grouping
consisting of halls、pavilions、winding corridors and a water-side
pavilion. It mainly imitates the architecture of ancient China,
and at the same time, it also absorbs the essence of the architecture
of some other countries. This embodies the fact that Zhenjiang
has a long history of more than 3000 years and yet is open to
other influences.
The famous literacy classes of successive dynasties of Zhenjiang
and their achievements in literature、art、science and technology
are displayed here. These which are express in pictures and
words, are not only similar in appearance, but also in spirit.
They reflect the profound classical culture of this ancient
city.
There is a teahouse in the winding corridor, where people
can relax.
The corridor is surrounded by flowers and grass. A stream
winds its way along here and a small bridge steps across the
stream. Here is an ideal place for tourists to enjoy their leisure.
